Upcoming Sound Shore blood drives

Sound Shore Medical Center let us know about some of their upcoming local blood drives. Individual donors must between 17 and 75 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be able to provide a photo ID and the last four digits of their Social Security number. (16 year olds can donate with a parent’s permission, as can more senior citizens if they have a doctor’s written approval).

The upcoming drives are:

• Sunday, Nov. 8, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.

• Sunday, Nov. 15, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Blessed Sacrament Church, 15 Shea Place, New Rochelle.

• Thursday, Nov. 19, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mamaroneck High School, 1000 W. Boston Post Road.

• Thursday, Dec. 3, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mamaroneck Fire Department, 205 Weaver St., Larchmont

• Sunday, Dec. 6, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Beth El, 1324 North Ave., New Rochelle (joint drive with Temple Israel)

• Sunday, Dec. 13, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Resurrection Church, 910 Boston Post Road, Rye
