New Rochelle budget available online

Posted by: Hannan Adely - Posted in Uncategorized on Nov 18, 2009

No layoffs are included in New Rochelle’s proposed 2010 budget, although 31 vacancies will go unfilled. City Manager Charles Strome put forth the $144 million budget proposal, which would mean an 8.9 percent property tax increase. The City Council must review and adopt it before the end of the year. A public hearing is planned for 8 p.m. Dec. 1 at City Hall.

The budget is available on the city’s Web site, www.newrochelleny.com, or just click this link: New Rochelle 2010 budget
