Posted by: Aman Ali - Posted in Mamaroneck on Feb 01, 2010

A public work session with the Mamaroneck Board of Education will be held Tuesday to talk about tough cuts to next year’s school budget.

District spokeswoman Debbie Manneta said Superintendent Paul Fried, who will retire this summer, will propose making $4 million in budget cuts for the 2010-2011 school year.

A large crowd is expected. The event will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium of Hommocks Middle School.
