Doesn’t it seem like these Corona girls are taunting us?
Such is winter in Port Chester. The Latino-friendly stores and travel agencies are always full of ads and images from the tropics. It’s torture. The best you can do is get an authentic taco at Tortilleria Los Gemelos, squeeze a lime over it and try to pretend you’re in Zihuatanejo.
Westchester Avenue, as you can see, is very slushy this afternoon, and despite the many plows going around, it’s hard to find the pavement. I spoke to some women who said the buses are moving well, but that was right after I saw a No. 13 to Ossining get stuck in front of the Port Chester Post office. It took some shoveling to free up the wheels.
