Looking for someone else to do the Passover cooking? The “second night” Passover Seder, a longstanding tradition at Temple Israel of New Rochelle, will be held next Tuesday, March 30 at 6:00 pm. But the deadline for reservations is tomorrow.
The service will be led by Rabbi Scott Weiner and Cantor Erik Contzius.
“The purpose of our congregational seder is to extend the family seder,” Weiner said in a statement. “We all have wonderful memories of seders with friends and family. The way we do it here at Temple Israel, we do it with more friends and more family, but with all of the traditions and fun. It is all the good times of having a seder with hundreds of people at your home without any of the preparation or clean up. We do that part for you.”
The cost of the seder is $60 for adults, $35 for children 5-12, children 4 and under are free.
Reservations should be sent with the fee and any special seating requests to Temple Israel of New Rochelle, 1000 Pinebrook Blvd., New Rochelle, NY 10804.
