Posted by: Aman Ali - Posted in Government & Politics, Mamaroneck, Rye Neck, Schools on Apr 19, 2010

Candidates have until 5 p.m. today to run for most school districts in the area. I’ll update this post later in the day but for now here’s the list so far of people running in Mamaroneck and Rye Neck.

(update: As of the 5 p.m. deadline, these look like all the ones that have filed.)

In Mamaroneck, two seats on the Board of Education are open. Seats are for three-year terms.

Nancy Pierson (incumbent)

Matthew Schoengood (newcomer)

In Rye Neck, two seats on the Board of Education are also open. Seats are for three-year terms.

Guy Pipolo (incumbent)

Bonni Gottlieb (newcomer)
