Lincoln Avenue: A woman used a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for gas at the 185 Lincoln Ave. getty station 8 p.m. Wednesday, but the station attendant picked up on the poor quality paper and called police. Police said the woman did not know it was a fake and had gotten it in a Bronx deli. She was not charged. She paid for the gas with other cash. Police confiscated the fake.
Fourth Avenue: A 2008 Cadillac Escalade was keyed on both sides while parked on the lower level of parking lot 2. The damage was reported at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Highbrook Avenue: Someone stole a package containing five pairs of men’s pants, valued at $280, between its delivery around 1:20 p.m. and when someone returned home at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
