Port Chester Police Blotter: Thousands in Jewelry Stolen
PORT CHESTER
Westchester Avenue: Someone tampered with an interior lock and stole $2,450 in gold jewelry from a resident of a house shared with other people. Police said there was no damage to the building’s front door. The burglary occurred between 8 a.m. Monday and 4 p.m. Tuesday but was not reported until Wednesday. Police said there have been two other similar burglaries in the immediate area since Sunday.
