DRAKE AVENUE: A 20-year-old New Rochelle woman told police that she found her 2008 Honda Accord jacked up and two tires missing. The tires were removed from the car sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. Saturday while it was parked on the 200 block of Drake Avenue, New Rochelle police said.
HAMILTON AVENUE: Jamarl Covington, 20, of 550 Fifth Ave. and Sevon Langston, 17, of 172 Fifth Ave., both of New Rochelle, were arrested by a New Rochelle police officer for allegedly stealing a 10-year-old boy’s bicycle. Police said the boy and his 42-year-old father, both city residents, were out riding their bicycles Saturday evening. They stopped and went into a store on Hamilton Avenue. When they came out, the child’s bicycle was missing. They notified the police department. A short time later, at 8:38 p.m. Friday, New Rochelle police Officer Luigi Amico spotted Covington and Langston on Division Street with a bicycle that fit the description of the stolen one. Both were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
