Tell us your Sept. 11 story

Posted by: Ed Forbes - Posted in Uncategorized on Sep 02, 2010

On Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked three jet planes and crashed them into the two World Trade Center towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

The terror attacks killed more than 3,000 people and transfixed our nation and the world.

As we cross the ninth anniversary of the attacks, The Journal News and its network of sister newspapers and TV stations is launching a special year-long project ahead of the 10th anniversary and, as part of that project, seeking reader reflections from that terrible day.

Send email to the address below and include the following:
— Your name
— Age
— Current city and state (street address is not necesary)
— E-mail address

Please answer these questions:
— What do you remember about the morning of Sept. 11, 2001?
— How did 9/11 change you?
— How did 9/11 chang the country?

Send the e-mail to Laura Rehrmann at lrehrmann@gannett.com
