Earlier this summer, we wrote about Mamaroneck being compliant with the 2007 ruling finding that village officials had harassed local day laborers.
The village published the report on its Web site. In the report, the independent monitor Vanessa Merton said the village was compliant with the ruling and she found no recent instances of day laborers being harassed.
The ruling brings the legal aspect of the case to a close as both the village and local hispanic group leaders point to tremendous progress over the past three years.
Read the ruling for yourself and weigh in by leaving a comment. Or you can hurt my feelings and write no comments.
