Port Chester’s Mayor Pilla seeking a third term; Democrats meet tonight
Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla said today he’s hoping to win another two-year term in the March 15 village election. His nomination is expected at tonight’s Democratic caucus.
“I’m committed to finishing what I started,” he said, noting the creation of a Code Enforcement Department, disciplinary investigations in the Building and Public Works departments, and the development of a village master plan.
“There’s a lot of work to be done, but I’m pleased with the progress. I think we have a talented staff, and we all work well together,” he said.
Caucuses for the Republican, Conservative and Independence parties are all scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 25.

Here’s hoping for another Pilla term. The current board, a product of that dreadful election decision, is nearly dysfunctional at this point. Without Pilla Port Chester will slide backwards.
