Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla easily won a third two-year term tonight over challenger Bart Didden, a village trustee.
The unofficial tally from the village clerk’s office: Pilla had 1,595 votes, or 59 percent; Didden had 1,094 votes, or 41 percent.
Didden joined the village board in June, after the landmark trustee election using cumulative voting. His trustee term lasts through March 2013, when all six trustee seats, plus the mayoralty, will be up for a vote.
