The newly reopened Pelham Picture House celebrates its 90th anniversary Saturday night with Matthew Modine, Eugene Jarecki and Kathleen Corton.
The bash, held at the Hilton Rye Town, in Rye Brook with cocktails, dinner, auctions and dancing, begins at 6:30 p.m.
The historic Picture House, once slated for demolition, was spared and, over the last few months, extensively renovated.
In a statement, Picture House Board of Directors Chairman John Calvelli said, “As someone who has special memories of movie classics viewed at the Picture House, it gives me a great feeling to know that the Picture House will be around for many generations to come. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank all who were a part of keeping the theater alive and especially our Gala Committee leadership for their passion and drive.
“The Gala will be a culminating event for us – it is about 90 years of movies and memories and so much more.”
