Palmer Avenue: An unlicensed New Rochelle man driving drunk escaped injury when his car struck a street sign at West Street April 6. Police charged Patrick Leber, 47, of Forest Avenue with two felonies, driving while intoxicated due to a prior conviction within the past 10 years, and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Police report that a small white car driven by a woman may also have been involved in the afternoon accident but left the scene. Leber was being held on $5,000.

Chatsworth Avenue: An unidentified passenger skipped out on paying a cab fare after being taken from Parking Lot 3 to an unreported destination April 5.
Chatsworth Avenue: A man’s $200 bicycle was stolen from a Lot 3 bicycle rack April 7.
Boston Post Road: A 77-year-old New York City man experienced back pain after a rear-end collision on the 400-block just before 3 p.m. April 7. The man, a passenger in a car driven by a 46-year-old Mamaroneck village woman, was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center. The other car was driven by a 41-year-old Rye woman. No one was cited.
Halstead Avenue: Two ladders, valued at $600, were stolen from the rear of a 200-block home between Jan. 31 and April 7.
Grove Street: A $250 deck chair was stolen from a porch around 12:30 a.m. April 10.
