MAMARONECK—Con Edison officials will present a rebate check for $23,000 to the town Housing Authority for participating in its “multi-family gas efficiency” program at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hommocks Park Apartments in Larchmont.
The Con Ed program helps the New York City and Westchester County’s housing authorities pay for more energy-efficient gas-heating equipment; it also covers the cost of green upgrades such as building weatherization. The town installed nine high-efficiency boilers through the program.
