The state’s highest court has thrown out a Mamaroneck man’s lawsuit claiming that his ex-wife should have to share the pain of millions of dollars lost in Bernard Madoff’s massive Ponzi scheme, Bloomberg.com reported today.
The New York Court of Appeals today dismissed the suit brought by Steven Simkin—a Manhattan attorney wtih a home on tony Constable Drive—against his former wife, Laura Blank. The ruling reversed a Manhattan appellate court’s decision that had said the case could proceed.
