Two portions of State Route 120 in Chappaqua and Harrison will soon likely bear the names of local soldiers killed in the War on Terrorism. Legislation that would dedicate the Chappaqua Bridge to Army Staff Sgt. Kyu H. Clay, of Chappaqua, and the stretch of Route 120 leading to SUNY Purchase to Army Spec. Anthony N Kalladeen awaits the governor’s signature. Kalladeen grew up in Purchase and attended the university there. Chay’s family runs a cleaning business in Chappaqua and he had nearly completed his law degree.
Assemblyman Robert J. Castelli (R-Goldens Bridge), a Vietnam veteran, sponsored the legislation in the Assembly. It passed both chambers unanimously.
