If you’ve got an idea how New Rochelle could save some money and ease the burden on taxpayers, the committee advising the city on its budgets wants to know about it.
The Citizens’ Panel on Sustainable Budgets, appointed in January, is looking for residents’ suggestions. But don’t wait too long. Committee head Todd Kern says the 15-member panel plans to submit its recommendations by Aug. 1.
Make suggestions by filling out a form on the city’s website: www.newrochelleny.com/budgetpanel.
Or you can send written comments to: the City Clerk’s office, 515 North Ave., New Rochelle, NY 10801.
