New Rochelle’s waterborne parade of lights, cancelled when it was originally scheduled last month, is now set for this Saturday, Aug. 11, at 8:30.
The “Holiday Lighted Boat Parade,” now in its fourth year, is becoming an annual tradition. Boats strung with holiday lights sail along the city’s coast to show off the city’s shoreline and scenic views of Long Island Sound and Echo Bay.
It was originally scheduled for July 28, but was postponed.
It starts and ends at the Municipal Marina between Hudson Park Road and the north end of Pelham Road. You’ll be able to see it from Hudson, Neptune and Sharkey parks.
