Here’s news from the Westchester County:
Westchester County is about to begin a $2.5 million rehabilitation project at its Mamaroneck Wastewater Treatment Plant.
This project will include reconstruction of the central tower, replacement of the roof and an upgrade of the administration building’s parapet and facade. Since it was built in 1929, the central tower has not been structurally rehabilitated; it has developed cracks in the brick exterior. The tower is expected to look the same as the current one.
Titan Construction Group, Inc. has been awarded this project, which is expected to begin by the end of this month and be completed within one year. Minimum traffic disruption is expected during the course of construction.
