School and community leaders in the area are urging families to put off trick-or-treating, due to frightful hazards including downed power lines. The Port Chester Recreation Department is running the Halloween Program on Friday, Nov. 2,at 5:30 p.m. at the Port Chester Senior Center, behind Village Hall at 222 Grace Church Street.
The event is free and open to children of all ages. There will be free tattoos, a costume parade, costume contest and a candy giveaway. (Please note new location, date, and that there will be no Haunted Park.)
