Town of Mamaroneck council candidates vie for a 1-year term

In the Town of Mamaroneck, Council member Jaine Eney, a Democrat, who was appointed to the board in January, will square off against Republican Jay Rubin, for a one-year unexpired term on Nov.6.  Councilmen generally serve 4-year terms and are paid $6,000 annually.

Town Justice, Ronald Meister, a Democrat, who was appointed in March, will run against Robert Sternbach, a Republican, for a one-year unexpired term.
