RESTORATION EFFORT:
I just returned from Orienta. Rushmore Ave. has power. There is a crew at Bleeker and Orienta where the main feeder
for most of Orienta is located. They expect that “main fuse” to be repaired in the next few hours. Subsequent to that they
will be working on the secondary feeders and side streets. We are trying to get another crew from Con Ed in the area.
There are other pockets of the VOM that remain out: Birch Hill La. in the Heights; Shore Acres & Soundview Drive; Thompkins Ave,
Colonial Ct.; We also are seeking a crew to get to those areas.
Emergency shelters:
VFW (1288 Boston Post Road): Village/Town warming Center
Hampshire Country Club: Warming center; Showers are available; recharge cell phones computers; Some availability for overnight cots., Etc.
Mamaroneck Library: Open
