Even after all these weeks, the judges on THE X FACTOR still aren’t quite sure what they’ve got with Mamaroneck’s Carly Rose Sonenclar. She killed “My Heart Will Go On,” the “Titanic” anthem tonight and the judges were still thinking that someone was singing for her.
L.A. Reid to Carly’s mentor Britney Spears: I don’t want to say this, but we could be looking at the winner.
Demi Lovato: You are so good and honestly, it doesn’t make sense. Like, I don’t believe that that’s your voice. I feel like Celine Dion is here and she’s hiding.

Simon Cowell: You’re 13 years old? Then I don’t believe you’re a human being, because you can’t do that at 13. Your control on that song—and I thought I was going to hate it, and that note at the end—was absolutely incredible.

I hate to burst everyone’s Carly bubble – but the kid was singing off in most of this song. It’s hard to believe that all these ‘music professionals’ are gushing over a ‘so so’ performance/performer . Nothing personal against this girl – but she’s really nothing special. Hooray she comes from Westchester but she’s certainly no Celine Dione and it’s insulting to Celine to have a comparison like that made. Wake up people – the hype on this one is ridiculous.
