New Rochelle’s celebration for Baltimore Raven Ray Rice, a former New Rochelle resident, has been canceled because of the winter storm headed this way, the city announced.
The city is working to schedule a future celebration.
“We are working with the City School District, community partners and Ray’s representatives to make this the most meaningful expression possible,” city spokesman Kathy Gilwit said.
The rally, celebrating the Ravens’ 34-31 Super Bown win over the San Francisco 49ers had been set to take place Saturday morning in front of New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Ave.
