New Port Chester Mayor Neil Pagano was sworn in tonight along with the six trustees elected March 19.
An overflow crowd packed into the village courthouse to see the ceremony, which also included a farewell to six-year Mayor Dennis Pilla and Trustee Bart Didden. The newly elected trustees are Gregory Adams, who has served before as an appointee, and Gene Ceccarelli. They join Daniel Brakewood, Sam Terenzi, Joseph Kenner and Luis Marino, who were re-elected.
Pagano said the turnout reminded him of the “weight” of his role and of his intent to earn the trust and confidence of the village. His son, Michael Pagano, a magistrate in Lake County, Indiana, administered the oath.
