The College of New Rochelle will host several autism awareness events this week, starting tonight.
The main event will be its first annual conference on Friday. There’s a fee for that, but two talks – tonight’s panel discussion and another session tomorrow (Thursday) – are free.
The college is at 29 Castle Place in New Rochelle.

The College of New Rochelle’s first annual conference “Building Bridges Between Practice and Education”
The keynote speaker for the conference will be Mary E. McDonald, Ph. D. of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment. Dr. McDonald will provide information on a variety of technology-based instructional methods that can be used to teach skills to individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
