We don’t do this often, but in the interest of time (and beating the traffic), here’s a press release–in full–from Iona College announcing a town hall Master Planning session for the school’s neighbors in New Rochelle.
Iona College will host a town hall Master Planning session for New Rochelle community neighbors on Tuesday, May 21, at 7 – 8:30 pm in the Romita Auditorium of Ryan Library.
Iona’s Master Planning process is part of the College’s Institutional Strategic Plan and is being conducted with the assistance of an outside planning organization, The Collaborative. Representatives from The Collaborative have met with various constituent groups in “focus group” settings to collect feedback that will guide the Campus Master Plan about how the campus will look in years to come.
“In an effort to continue to engage collaboratively with our neighbors, we are pleased to invite the community to participate in Iona’s Master Planning process. We look forward to enhancing the relationships we’ve built over the past years,” said Charlie Carlson, Vice Provost for Student Life.
The Collaborative will offer a short slide show presentation to introduce the community to the Master Planning process and include time for neighbors to offer their own creative ideas for Iona’s campus.
