Movie crews will be filming in downtown Rye this Sunday and next – June 16 and 23—for a production of Warner Brothers’ “This is Where I Leave You.”
No word on whether stars Jason Bateman or Tina Fey will be there. The movie, based on the novel by Jonathan Tropper, is about four siblings who reunite after their father’s death. The production also filmed in the parking lot at Congregation KTI in Port Chester last month, and borrowed a village fire truck for the day for a scene in the fictional town of “Elmbrook.”
About 100 to 150 people will be in town for the shoot, and will use Rye’s Car Park 4, which runs behind Purchase Street along Library Lane. (Click here for a map.)
