Last week the New Rochelle Council of Community Services honored a quartet of community leaders at the group’s annual luncheon, held June 6 at the Davenport Club in New Rochelle.

The honorees were: the George T. Davis Funeral Home and its director, Vincent Fasano; New Rochelle Police Department Det. Terrence Fudge; the Rev. Robert Gahler, of Trinity St. Paul’s Church; and Dr. Kandy Mama of Sound Shore Medical Center’s emergency room.
The organization also awarded a $1,000 scholarship to New Rochelle High School junior Courtney Mills, recognizing her for “selflessly dedicating her time and talents to help others.”
