Car enthusiasts gather at the car and truck show at Rye Playland10.02.11

The Westchester Street Rod Association and DeDona Enterprises sponsored the show, which featured a wide variety of classic and collectible cars, street rods, motorcycles and vintage trucks. Drum circle at the New Rochelle library part of two-day Artfest09.25.11

Severe weather alert in effect through early Monday morning08.21.11

A fast moving thunderstorm swept through the area this afternoon, taking down trees and power lines in parts of Westchester. Check back at Lohud.com for updates as the National Weather Service says severe thunderstorms could continue throughout the Lower Hudson region into Monday.
